Happy New Year!
We officially reopened our doors last weekend after the festive period and the Freida Mo’s family is super duper excited to see your lovely faces again (we’ve missed ya!). We’ve finally mustered the energy to get out of minced pie/mulled wine mode and have been busy bees taking our Christmas deccies' down, giving our little haven a boost of renewed energy, and envisioning a beautifully bright 2023.
We had a fantastic 2022 and have immense amounts of gratitude to all that supported our lil’ local on the lane! Thanks for the lovely chats, many of the brews shared, our creative workshop hosts, and our amazing independent partners who handmake their products with love.
We would love to share with you a little recap of our fave #FreidaMoments last year, and of course, our special 2023 intentions! ♥
Twenty Twenty Two… How did you do?
2022 was a fabulous year! It was beautiful to finally reopen our doors and return to being a customer-facing biz after a long time with closed doors during the pandemic. Last year, we celebrated many memorable moments and embraced a few changes at Freida Mo’s. Our fond memories are:
♥ A hella sassy Drag show with Ru Paul Drag Race’s Sister Sister!
♥ Winning Best Stall at Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, and also met the Lord Mayor!
♥ Our horrifying Halloween Market showcasing five independent makers for the day.
♥ Taking our sister biz, Pretty Flamingo Vintage to Glastonbury Festival!
♥ Hosting several crafty workshops including Macrame, Crochet, Embroidery, and Flower Pounding.
We also gained a new Freidette, Ashley, who’s loving her Business Development Manager role and waved goodbye to Gemma (for now, phew) and wish her the best on her new journey to becoming a Mama!
Cheers to a New Year!
The Freidettes kickstarted the year by getting together over a cuppa and setting our new years intentions. According to Chinese Astrology, 2023 is the year of the Rabbit; symbolising peace, luck, creativity, and patience! The Freida Mo’s bunnies got inspired and set new years intentions for the business and for our own personal growth. Head over to our Instagram to see what the Freidettes’ are striving for this year!
Our number one business ambition is (drumroll, please)…….
We aim to deliver community engagement in several ways, such as curating exciting new workshops for those of you who love to get crafty, wellness events, taking Freida Mo’s into the wild, and even launching our own Freida Mo’s podcast, where you can enjoy the musings of the Freidette’s (we do talk about more than just food, honest!), and will give airtime to other interesting folks in our local community.
Freida Mo’s 5th Birthday Party!
OMG, we’re almost 5 years old! Time flies by so fast (when you’re having fun!) and we’ve come a long way since opening our doors in 2018. Sally our owner, came to Liverpool, transformed this space with her own two bare hands, and has birthed a complete gem on Lark Lane. To celebrate being half a decade old, we’re going to plan a special Freida Mo’s Bonanza in March! Keep your eyes peeled on our website and socials to find out more.
Taking Stock of 2023…
Out with the old, and in with the new! We have taken our Christmas decorations down and given a store a burst of January, New Years’ energy! (It feels so good!)
We have replenished our collection with gorgeous new items such as Jewellery, clothing, and cards for the special occasions in your life and are busy getting into the swing of preparing our Valentine’s (and Galentine’s Day) range. Also, we are offering up to 50% off our Christmas Shop for those of you who would like a little treat! We have also been busy in the kitchen, creating delicious January bakes for little sweet pick-me-up, and as an allergin specialist bakery, we have plenty of Vegan and Gluten free options available.
