Freida Mo’s 5th Birthday Bonanza - 18th March 2023!
Freida Mo’s is fully in the swing of March (how did we get here so fast?!) and had a fabulous February. We spread love for Valentines and we had a wonderful Galentines get together over Rose wine and chips - celebrating being friends, Freidette’s and almost being 5 years in business! We spread love far and wide; bringing a slice of colour via our pop-up at The Royal Liver Building and birthed our first podcast session, ‘In conversation with The Freidette’s’. Vol 1 for Mind’s #TimeToTalkDay and Vol 11 explored LGBTQ+ spaces in Liverpool. Catch up on our Instagram.

Freida Mo’s is turning 5th years old!
Wow, where does the time go? Our little haven on the lane is almost half a decade old and we’re going to give her the do’ she deserves! On Saturday 18th March, we’ll be hosting an in-store Birthday Party, kick starting celebrations at 11am, until 5pm! The Freidette’s will be putting on our fancy pants posh frocks for a guaranteed fun- filled, vibey day in store.
On our birthday, you’ll experience:
Live music from the Jubilee Stompers; providing joyous swing and jazzy vibes from 1.30 - 3.30pm!
Freida Mo’s Pass the Parcel- for your opportunity to win shop goodies to win (hosted 3 times throughout the day)

Looking back at the last 5 years…
Our baby is almost five and we’re so proud of all she has become over the last half decade. We officially opened her doors on March 17th 2018, with no rules - just Sally’s (our owners) creative vision who proudly named the store her Grandmother’s, Freida and Mo.
As a true independent, things started small, the company was launched with her Sally’s own money (no family funding or outside investment!), and worked tirelessly to transform Freida Mo’s into the riot of colour you see today. Sally’s supportive, handy and enthusiastic family/friends helped get the doors open and Freida Mo’s hit the ground running. Sally worked solo for eight months, before employing her first employee Gemma, as shop manager. The team has now blossomed into a fierce female team of six creative, fun and hardworking ladies - ‘The Freidette’s!’
Over time, Freida Mo’s has transformed from a small local into one of Liverpool’s best-loved destinations, a boutique and community hub. The giving aspect of Freida Mo’s will always be an important value of ours, and our favourite memories include hosting a wedding in store for a homeless couple, launching ‘Solo Souls’ to unite the community in times of loneliness and a free Christmas Grotto, even with a real live Reindeer! We also built our serene ‘Yarden’ (which Sally and Gemma built with their bare hands!) and graced Freida Mo’s into the wild, bringing our vibey space to festivals like Glastonbury, Love Supreme and Green Man.
We’re so unbelievably grateful to be Freidette’s, for our local community, regular visitors, those who travel far and wide to visit us, the thousands of brews shared and our independent partners.
